Retired service dogs
Tavain was my first service dog, She was the first dog that I began training specifically for service work. She was retired in the summer of 2023, and while she didn’t like the retirement, she was regularly taken out on ‘excursions’ to help with no longer working with me.
She was half redbone coonhound, with her father being, most likely, a Labrador retriever.
She was known as the Little Princess at home (among other “ahem” names), and she loved to cuddle and belly rubs, was an absolute papa’s girl, and enjoyed her job immensely.
Tavain was lovingly sent off in November of 2023.
